Noor Sherif was never just someone people simply knew—she was the kind of soul who brought light and genuine joy wherever she went. Born in Mansoura on May 29, 2010, she filled her family’s home with warmth, laughter, and affection from her very first day.
At Fakhr El-Dakahlia Language School (FDLS Mansoura), everyone truly adored her; her teachers and classmates alike felt an immediate sense of comfort around her. She spoke gently, never caused hurt, and was always right there to support and celebrate her friends.
When she chose to wear the Islamic hijab at a young age, she did so entirely out of quiet personal conviction and contentment. It was never something imposed upon her—it was a natural reflection of her humble, dignified spirit that earned everyone’s admiration.
Between Noor and her elder sister Maryam—who is two years her senior—existed a bond beyond measure. They were truly one soul in two bodies, sharing every secret, every burst of laughter, and every little detail of their days. When Noor departed, Maryam’s heart broke beyond what words can hold for her lifelong companion, as did her mother’s, who saw in Noor the irreplaceable heartbeat of their home.
In August 2026, a sudden medical emergency struck. For five days in the intensive care unit at Mansoura Hospital, hearts hung between hope and prayer, until Allah chose her on Saturday, August 15, 2026, after Asr. The following day after the Duhr prayer, all of Mansoura gathered to bid her farewell at the Tarapay family cemetery in Sandoub, a moving testimony to how deeply cherished she was.
Though Noor is no longer with us in person, her beautiful spirit, gentle smile, and living memory remain forever in our hearts, accompanied by endless prayers for her soul. May Allah have mercy upon Noor and grant her the highest gardens of Paradise.
